The lives of people and characters carry a weight that makes them infinitely satisfying to depict.

There’s this fine line that I work along, between the minute, highly technical, rhopographic detail and the messy, emotional, and sometimes vulgar base I try to start all my work from.

Whether the moment is fantastical or mundane, I enjoy making pieces about intimate humanity. Putting so much effort and love and care into human experiences lends them a credibility and relatability that speaks to me.
